Pixel Planet Generator is a procedural tool that creates fully animated pixel-art planets in 8–16 bit style.
Everything is generated through noise, color palettes, multi-layer cloud simulation and retro dithering.
Ideal for video games, engines, artworks, prototypes and atmospheric effects.

Planets can be exported as PNG frames or as full animation tilesets up to 240 frames, ready for engines such as Unity, Godot, GameMaker, RPG Maker, and many more.

FEATURES

Procedural Planet Generation
Surface, continents, oceans, ice caps and biomes generated by multi-octave noise with complete palette control.

Seed-Based Generation
Every seed creates a unique planet and atmosphere.
The seed affects not only the terrain but also cloud structures, jet streams, storms and atmospheric fog.

Multi-Layer Cloud System
Up to three independent cloud layers, each with fine tunable color, density, scale, direction and motion mode (standard, jet stream, fog and spirals)
Layers can be mixed to simulate dynamic atmospheres, realistic weather, alien worlds or complex gas giants.

Retro Dithering Engine
Three-tone Bayer dithering with selectable matrices (2×2, 4×4, 8×8) for authentic pixel-era shading.

Custom Palettes
Full control over deep water, shallow water, coasts, lowlands, highlands and ice.
Useful for themes such as alien planets, toxic worlds, frozen moons or stylized fantasy maps.

In-built Background and Satellite/CRT overlay generator
The app have two powerful in-built generator, a background generator that create procedural starfields and nebulas, with animation output included, and a overlay generator (still in development) for CRT effects, radar sweeps and custom text frames.

PNG Export
Export single frames at 256×256, 128×128 or 64×64.

Tileset Export
Generate full looping animation sheets, horizontal, vertical or grid layouts.
